Pressure washing & roof cleaning · Austin, TX
The dirt comes off. Your roof, siding and windows stay on.
Exterior Express is a family exterior-cleaning business serving Austin, run by two brothers, Andrew and Matt. We soft-wash the surfaces that pressure would damage, and use pressure on the ones that need it — roof cleaning, house washing, gutter cleaning, window cleaning, solar panels, driveways and fences, across Austin and the surrounding suburbs.
Owner-operated. The people who quote the job are the people who do it.
What we clean
Six things we do, and how we do them
Different surfaces need different pressure. Getting that wrong is how shingles lose granules and how water gets behind siding.
-
Roof cleaning
Black streaks are algae, and a pressure washer is what turns a cosmetic problem into an expensive one.
-
Pressure washing
Flat, hard and underfoot: the driveway, the walkway, the patio and the pool surround.
-
Window cleaning
Glass, tracks and screens, plus the sprinkler overspray that puts the spots back within a week.
-
Gutter cleaning
Runs and downspouts cleared, on a spring schedule rather than a fall one.
-
Solar panel cleaning
Deionized water and a soft brush, because the anti-reflective coating is the part that gets ruined.
-
House washing
Siding, stucco, brick and stone, at a pressure that keeps water out from behind the cladding.
Trash cans, junk hauling, pet waste and curb numbers are on the truck too — the services page has the full list.
How it works
Three steps, from first call to finished job
-
Tell us the property
Call or send the form. One story or two, roughly what square footage, and which surfaces you want done. Photos help more than measurements.
-
We quote the job
You get a price for the work you asked about, and a note if we think a different treatment suits the surface better.
-
We come and do it
Andrew and Matt run the jobs themselves. Plants get rinsed down before and after, and we tell you when we are finished rather than leaving quietly.
Where we work

Questions
Things people ask before booking
Will pressure washing damage my roof?
Yes, on asphalt shingle it would. Pressure strips the granules off the surface and shortens the life of the roof. That is why roofs get a low-pressure soft wash instead, which is a cleaning solution and time rather than force.
Do I need to be home?
Not for most exterior work, as long as we can reach an outdoor spigot and the gates are unlocked. Interior window cleaning is the exception.
What about my plants?
Planting next to the work gets watered down before we start and again at the end. That dilutes what reaches the leaves; it does not make it harmless, so tell us about anything newly put in or that you are particularly attached to.
What does it cost?
We price each property rather than publishing a rate card, because the number moves with square footage, one story or two, roof pitch, how much build-up is on the surface and how easy it is to get equipment to it. Send those details on the phone or through the form and you get a figure for your own job rather than a range.
Are you based in Austin?
We are a Houston family business and Austin is a service area we run routes into. Same brothers, same equipment. If that matters to you, we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
